Our Savior's Church

Lafayette, LA USA

Designing for architectural integration and future expansion.

To accommodate its rapidly growing congregation, the sought a new 1,100-seat expandable worship center to serve as the permanent campus in Lafayette. The new facility needed to have a high level of audio, video and lighting systems to support the dynamic praise and worship. Idibri worked with the Church and design team to incorporate the acoustical recommendations and technical systems into the architecture. This involved special attention to the unique architectural features, particularly the ceiling which included a center pop-up with windows and an eye-brow over the platform. Accommodations were provided for future expansion into a dedicated video production room when they decide to include camera systems for Image Magnification or broadcast to a satellite venue.
